Handbook For The Recently Deceased // Julian

I tend to measure shit these days on a life sized gray scale. Some shit coming out is so dark even though it is labelled white witch that it tips my scale into dark matter proportions where no light can enter. This “Julian” track by Handbook For The Recently Deceased is kind of spoken wordy and a little poetic at times. I like it when Goths get all touchy and feely with their craft. It makes me re-examine myself from time to time. Right now everything is dovetailing nicely as all the genres that matter to me are blending into a gigantic cauldron of darkness. This band seems to pull this sort of witch concoction off well for me in my book. Two-tracks in to their short history, I am liking what I am hearing. We are primed for an EP.
